It's been so long since we've updated. The reasons certainly aren't for lack of news. So much has happened over the last few months. We are currently in Mexico, working like mad to finish the documentary. We have a pretty computer that we have been editing on.

We're compiling the last pieces of the documentary right now, and we want to show it to you. In August we'll be touring the documentary for a sneak peek showing in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Portland in order to get some critiques on the film and to make a final push to raise all the money we need to finish and distribute it. As you may know, we have put the project up onto Kickstarter.com in order to raise the rest of the needed funds.

If you read into it, the fine print tells us that, if we don't raise our goal amount by August 16th, then none of the pledges will actually be made. THAT'S CRAZY RIGHT?! The stakes sure are high. To make the stakes even higher, we're going to end our tour in Portland on the 14th of August! That leaves just TWO DAYS to get any remaining money pledged. On top of that, we budgeted out all the remaining funds we already have, and it turns out we have just enough to get us up to Portland to show it to you guys. So if we don't raise all the Kickstarter money, we'll literally be stuck in Portland (not an entirely bad place to be) with an unfinished documentary and no money at all (a very bad place to be).
So please be praying about contributing to VOLVIENDO PURSUIT. Diego has a wife and child and he has taken them around the world and back to be a part of this; Phillip never thought he would be an abolitionist of sex trafficking, and yet God has asked it of him; and Brittany has turned down several producing jobs (nearly enough money to reach our goal) to be with the victims of sex trafficking and finish this severely important documentary. So we ask that you come alongside us in our sacrifices - to look to Christ who gave everything - and give of yourselves for the cause of Christ.
Also please pray...
-That our time in the next month down here will be healthy, productive, and within the will of God. We need to get so much work done, but we value God's timing and we want Him to work through us always.
-For our unity; this is In Dependence Studio's first project, and we are still working out the kinks on how we all best work together.
-For great venues in the cities we're showing; we are looking for an awesome place to show the documentary in all three locations. Perhaps you know a great venue that could act as a movie theater for a night. If not, pray that something brilliant opens up for us.
